my Layby does not charge for delivery for smaller items delivered by Australia Post, or for heavy items to areas within our courier network. That means that the price you see on the website is all you have to pay, you will not be charged any extra once you reach the check out.
DELIVERY TIME FRAMES
Delivery is made:
· within 14 days after your final payment has been processed, unless otherwise advised.
· within 21 days after your final payment has been processed if payments have been completed sooner than originally scheduled.
This allows time for your payment to be processed by our bank, for your order to be packed and dispatched, and for your item to come into stock if you complete your layby early.
Your estimated delivery date range can be found by logging in to your online account.
While every effort is made to deliver as advised, my Layby cannot accept any liability for delay due to the customer’s failure to complete customer obligations or any other reason beyond the control of my Layby (and/or its staff). my Layby cannot accept any liability resulting from a contracted party’s failure to deliver as advised.
CHRISTMAS / BIRTHDAY DELIVERY:
If you require delivery by a particular date such as Christmas or in time for a birthday gift, we strongly recommend choosing the ‘I want it delivered by this date’ option when setting up your layby payments.
DELIVERY METHODS & DELIVERY AREAS
Smaller items: The majority of items will be delivered by Australia Post and delivered directly to your door. If you are not home, a card will be left and you can collect your parcel from your nearest Post Office. Auspost items are delivered Australia-wide.
Heavy Items: If the item you have ordered is too large for Australia Post, a ‘heavy’ icon will appear and you will need to enter your postcode to check if we deliver to your area.
Delivery of heavy items is made via our network of couriers.
At the moment we can only deliver ‘heavy’ items to the following areas:
NSW – Metropolitan areas of Sydney, Canberra, Newcastle, Central Coast, Wollongong and the Southern Highlands.
ACT – Metropolitan areas of Canberra
QLD – Metropolitan areas of Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
VIC – Metropolitan areas of Melbourne, Geelong, Campbellfield and Healesville.
SA - Metropolitan area of Adelaide.
WA – Metropolitan area of Perth
TAS and NT – Unfortunately we currently do not deliver large items to these states.
If you live outside of these areas, we may be able to arrange delivery of heavy items for an additional fee. Please contact us with the name of the item you wish to purchase, your suburb and postcode and we will organise a quote for delivery.
An email will be sent to you as soon as your order has been dispatched.
For smaller items delivered by Australia Post, a tracking number will be provided for each parcel. Items on the same order may be delivered on different days. Please track the progress of your parcel by visiting http://auspost.com.au/track/track.html
Please note that the Auspost tracking service will not show any events until the barcode is first scanned in by Australia Post. This may not occur until your parcel has reached your local Auspost processing centre.
Some items are delivered direct from our suppliers, in these cases tracking is not always available. If this is the case it will clearly state this on the dispatch email.
Most vouchers are sent out unactivated for security reasons. They will require calling/emailing to activate and will be live in under 24 hours for you to use. These vouchers are sent regular mail so no tracking will be available.
For heavy items, you will receive a call a few days before your layby is due to be delivered to arrange a suitable day and time for delivery.
